The Peoria Housing Authority (PHA), of Peoria Illinois, acting for itself and/or its various instrumentalities, and affiliates intends to contract with one or more qualified, licensed entities to provide the following detailed Lawn Care Maintenance Services for the PHA properties through Peoria and Peoria County. The awarded continuing contract will be for a base period of one (1) year with four (4) additional one-year renewal options. PHA expects that the selected contractor(s) will perform all required general and/or specific lawn care services for PHA, its instrumentalities, and/or its affiliates, to include but not be limited to the work identified in the Scope of Services section. One signed original and one electronic version (thumb drive, etc.) of the completed proposal must be submitted to the housing authority in a sealed envelope or container clearly marked "Lawn Care Maintenance Services C179-05-23-RFP" Proposals will not be accepted using email or fax. Proposals received after this time may not be accepted. All information requested must be provided or proposals may be deemed non-responsive. The successful Proposer(s) shall be determined by the top-rated responsive and responsible proposer(s) as determined by the evaluation process detailed within this request for proposals. The subsequent contract will be a "Fixed Price" contract without price adjustments. Unit prices provided are firm, fixed costs. Length of contract will be one (1) year, with the option to extend the contract for four (4) additional one (1) year terms. Awards are subject to available funding Questions and inquiries regarding this request for proposals should be directed in writing by May 17, 2023 at 12:00 p.m., CST to the Procurement Specialist at procurement@pha.peoria.il.us. The PHA reserves the following rights: to accept or reject any and all submissions and to waive any and all technicalities; to determine the days, hours, and locations that the successful Proposer(s) shall provide services called for in this RFP; to hold all proposals submitted and not permit withdrawal for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days subsequent to the deadline for receiving proposals; to negotiate fees proposed; and to not consider any proposal that does not meet the requirements of this RFP. Costs incurred as a result of responding to this RFP are the responsibility of the Proposer.
