Site work and renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; and for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
As of November 21, 2023, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The work will include the repair/maintenance of 7 bridges within the township. Repair items that shall be completed, along with bridge locations, are listed in the document titled "Summary of Needed Repairs" available in the "DOCUMENTS" tab in PennBID in the "Specifications and Contract Documents" folder. A comprehensive list and associated descriptions/instructions are included in the individual bridge inspections reports also available electronically, in the "DOCUMENTS" tab within PennBID in the "Bridge Inspection Report" folder, and should be referred to for project specifics. Note, some repair items are scheduled to be completed by South Middleton Township, refer to the above mentioned "Summary of Needed Repairs" regarding items to be completed by the Contractor. Bids will be based on a lump sum bid. The Contract will be subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. The Township shall provide a written Notice to Proceed to the Contractor Question Deadline: 6/2/2023 at 12:00 PM ET
