Environmentally Controlled Storage Building The Iowa Department of Administrative Services will be receiving bids for the construction of the ECSB (Environmentally Controlled Storage Building) at the Newton Correctional Facility (NCF), Iowa Prison Industries (IPI), Homes For Iowa (HFI) Facility Production Site, 307 S 60 th Ave W, Newton, Iowa 50208. The project includes cast-in-place concrete, slab on grade, masonry, sheet metal, doors/frames, sectional overhead doors, painting, HVAC, electrical, earthwork, and exterior improvements The Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or a certified check drawn upon a solvent bank chartered under the laws of the United States of America. This project is exempt from Iowa Sales Tax. Davis Bacon Wages will not apply to this project Questions must be submitted by 2:00 pm, May 25, 2023, to the Issuing Officer.
