Site work for a water / sewer project in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This improvement is to move all the controlling systems from a vault below grade to a cabinet above grade. The below-grade structure is rusting and leaking, and the exposed components can corrode and fail due to this environment. The improvements would include moving electrical infrastructure above ground as well as installing a permanent generator at the site. Lift station three is located on Richnee Lane and is located on an easement in between two residences. As part of this project the City may have to acquire more permanent easement in order to bring equipment above ground and have access to maintain this new equipment Project is in City of Rolling Meadows capital budget 2025-2029. It is anticipated construction will start late 2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
