Renovation of a multi-residential development in Leicester, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a two-story above grade multi-residential development.
The Project consists of: Removal and replacement of asphalt shingle roofing and associated underlayment and flashings on a 2-story apartment building. The work is estimated to cost $ 150,600.00 Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make a written request to the Architect. The Architect will answer such requests if received seven (7) calendar days before the date for receipt of the bids. The work under the Contract consists of: 1. Stripping existing shingled roofs to the deck, including edge metal and flashings, and the installation of a new shingled roof system consisting of underlayments, flashings, sealants, and shingles. 2. Replacing and re-pinning existing plywood roof sheathing as needed. 3. Removal of all existing gutters and downspouts and replace with new. 4. Repair and replace damaged or missing metal panning over existing roof trim. 5. All Work either shown on the drawings or included in the specifications unless specifically indicated as not to be done. B. In addition, the Work under the Contract includes: 1. Work outside the project site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required for the performance of the Work. 2. The restoration of any items damaged or destroyed by encroaching upon areas outside of the project site. 3. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities.
