UPDATE : Escalator step replacement - The program is designed to replace twin bank units with new steps creating a spare set to be sent out as refurbished for exchange plan with powder coated face. Elevator Modernization - The program is currently scoped to modernize elevators 11 and 12 located in Car Park 4. Project is in City of Anaheim capital budget fy 2025-2026 CIP _____________________________________________________________________ This project modernizes the internal components of the 12 elevators and 16 escalators so that they remain easily serviceable. It also includes the complete overhaul of drive chains, handrails, and rollers and tracks on the building’s aging escalators to extend their life and reliability This project is included in the City of Anaheim's FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). Per the City, as of October 30, 2023, this project is being handled by the convention center. Information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available. Construction is anticipated from 2024 to 2031.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
