The City of Anaheim is seeking the services of a qualified specialty company to provide ongoing, as-needed SCBA Testing, Maintenance and Repair. This IFB is issued to facilitate an informed and competitive procurement process for the services described in the Scope of Services section ("Services"). The City intends to enter into an agreement with the selected respondent for an initial one-year term, with up to four (4) optional one-year extensions. The final agreement will substantially conform to the terms and requirements stated in the Model Contract included with this solicitation. Any resulting agreement may be subject to approval by the Anaheim City Council and will become effective upon full execution by both parties. Liquidated Damages: The City shall assess liquidated damages as follows: $250.00 per occurrence for faulty workmanship in excess of two (this does not include defective components unless their failure is directly attributable to faulty workmanship). $100.00 per business day for late pickup or late delivery of the vehicle. City reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to make multiple awards to Bidders for services requested in this solicitation. Accept or reject in whole or in part any or all bids received as a result of this solicitation at its sole discretion and to solicit for new bids, as the best interest of the City may require. Negotiate the final Contract with the lowest, responsive and responsible Bidder or Bidders as necessary to serve the best interests of the City. Withdraw or cancel in part or in its entirety this solicitation at any time without prior notice and furthermore makes no representation that any contract will be awarded to any Bidder responding to this solicitation. Award its total requirements to one Bidder or to apportion those requirements among two or more Bidders as the City may deem to be in its best interests; therefore, bids must be provided for each item separately; "all-or-none" bids will not be accepted unless in the best interest of the City.
