Site work and paving for a road / highway in La Center, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Project consists of chip sealing with 3/8-inch chip seal over the entire width of Highland Road/339th Street pavement between 24th Street and approximately 300-feet north of 4th Street. This is approximately 4,300 lineal feet of pavement and 11,900 SY of pavement area. Alternate bids include striping and a fog seal over the entire width of the paving and striping. Technical inquiries regarding the project should be directed to Tony Cooper, City Engineer, at City of La Center Public Works, 210 East 4th Street, La Center, WA 98629, (360) 263-2889 or by email at acooper@ci.lacenter.wa.us. Each must be accompanied by a certified or bank check or bidder's bond, by a bonding company licensed to do business in the State of Washington, made payable to the City of La Center in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. Work shall be completed by September 30th after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The City of La Center reserves the right to cancel this request or reject any and all bids received or to waive any minor formalities of this call if in the judgment of the City Council the best interest of the City would be served.
