Renovation of a road / highway in Closter, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a road / highway.
The work to be performed under this contract includes the construction of 90 linear feet of retaining wall along the Dwars Kill. Principal items of work in the project include: . 65 CY Concrete Retaining Wall . 70 CY Concrete Footing . 1 UNIT Reconstruct Type B Inlet, using new casting . 20 LF 9" x 20" Concrete Vertical Curb . 675 CY Excavation, Unclassified . 11,000 lbs Reinforcement Steel . 1,000 tons Disposal of Non-Hazardous (ID-27) Material The project takes place along a Category 1 waterway. Each bid must be made upon the prescribed forms, furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications, including the non-collusion affidavit and ownership statement compliance form and must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety and a certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond of not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount bid and, not to exceed $20,000.00. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to accept the bid from the lowest responsible bidder. prevailing wage rates as determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor. All bids shall be irrevocable, not subject to withdrawal and shall stand available for a period of sixty (60) days.
