Renovation of a water / sewer project in Meigs, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the proposed project known as Lift Station Improvements as shown on the construction drawings and detailed in the specifications. In general, construction consists of removal and replacing of three (3) existing sanitary sewage pump stations, new control panels, bypass pumping, sanitary sewer piping, site work, electrical and all associated items required to place pumping stations back into operation. One other existing pumping station shall have new pumps installed with other minor improvements. All work will be awarded in one (1) contract with a 180 consecutive calendar day construction schedule. All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. The Owner, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to re-advertise.
