Site work for a water / sewer project in Meigs, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the proposed Water System Improvements as shown on the construction drawings. In general, construction consists of improvements to the water system and its divided into two phases. Phase 1 includes the replacement of 4,280 L.F. of pipeline, as well as retrofitting or replacing approximately 422 existing water meters and installation of transmitters and collectors; Hardware, software, and training for Automated Meter Infrastructure (AMI) with GEFA-funded improvements, while Phase 2 consists of the replacement of 8,969 L.F. of pipeline with CDBG-funded improvements, and all associated measures for the complete project. Time allotted for completion of work is 180 consecutive calendar days to substantial completion. Work shall be complete and ready for contract close-out with 194 consecutive calendar days. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids and to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that Bidder, Project no-DW2024022 CDBG No.: 25p-x-136-2-6799
