This announcement constitutes a Pre-Solicitation Notice (Synopsis) in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Ft. Leonard Wood, MO, hereby announces it intent to issue a solicitation for a small business set-aside, Firm Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Award contract for Fire Suppression service and maintenance in supporting the United States Army Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. This is a follow-on requirement of an existing contract expiring in July 2024. THIS IS NOT A FORMAL SOLICITATION. The Government intends to issue a formal solicitation via the System for Awards Management (SAM), and conduct Source Selection Board in accordance with FAR Part 13 with elements of FAR Part 15 and DoD Source Selection Procedures, on/about fifteen (15) days from the publication/posting date of this Notice. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 561621 (Security System Services-Except Locksmith). The size standard for this NAICS Code is $25 million. The Government intends to award an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract (IDIQ), resulting from this solicitation. The duration of the contract will include a one-year base period plus four-year periods. The estimated value of this effort is $372K. Project Scope: Provide safe and operational fire suppression systems to facilities identified to receive fire suppression system services under this contract. To meet this goal, close coordination is required between the Contractor and the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to efficiently provide fire suppression system maintenance services while minimizing disruptions to operations within the facilities and meeting security requirements. The solicitation will be posted at https://sam.gov/content/opportunities under the Solicitation Number W911S7-23-R-0030 on or after 4 March 2024 with an anticipated quote due date of 19 April 2024. There will be the potential for site visits on or around 11 April 2024.
