As of August 15,2023, project is cancelled. Project is no longer needed. The City of Fernandina Beach, Florida (City) is accepting competitive sealed bids for THE RELOCATION OF APPROXIMATELY 500 LF OF 12" dia. WATER MAIN ON AMELIA ISLAND PARKWAY IN FERNANDINA BEACH. The City of Fernandina Beach, Florida is requesting Guaranteed Maximum Price bid submittals from qualified teams to provide relocation of approximately 500 linear feet of water main that will connect to the existing main within the Amelia Island Parkway Right-of-Way on Amelia Island, Florida. Amelia Island Parkway is an existing Nassau County owned and maintained two-lane road. The City will coordinate approval for this work with Nassau County. The project will consist of two wet-tap connections of the existing active main and serve to relocate the main currently in conflict with planned improvements. Two valves shall be installed under full in-line pressure to isolate the section of main to be abandoned in place. The Contractor shall include furnish and install of two in-line valves, two wet-taps, installation of 360' of 12" water main by directional bore, and all fittings to facilitate connection. Completion- 120 calendar days
