As of October 6,2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The City of Fernandina Beach, Florida (City) is requesting sealed competitive bids from qualified Contractors for the construction of a tennis practice wall at the City s Central Park on Atlantic Avenue. The work involves the site grading, subgrade preparation, installation of a reinforced concrete slab & foundation, installation of a 16 ft high, 12 thick reinforced concrete block masonry wall, including painting, complete as shown on the drawings. A Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid Bid .Bonds or Certified Checks will be returned to unsuccessful bidders within 10 days of bid award. Successful bidders will receive their Certified Check or Bid Bond after the contract/agreement has been signed and a Performance and Payment Bond is received. The City reserves the right to require Bidders to provide references and information on previous similar experience prior to award of the contract Payment and Performance Bond shall be secured from or countersigned by an agency or surety company recognized in good standing and authorized to do business in the State of Florida
