As of October 4,2023, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded by the end of November. SCOPE OF WORK The scope of work involves the removal and replacement of three 60Hp irrigation pumps and a 5 Hp jockey pump system and associated components at the City of Fernandina Beach's Municipal Golf Course. The existing irrigation pump station is over 20 years in service and has reached its useful operational life. The base bid is to include, but not limited to, the following: o Perform an evaluation of the existing well and clean-out as necessary and lake inspection to determine the condition of the intake system and provide report identifying any issues or concerns. o Removal and replacement of the existing three 60-Hp Vertical Turbine pumps and one 5 Hp maintenance jockey pump with reconnection to the existing piping and electrical system. o Implement start-up and testing of the new pump system. o Detailed description of the Contractor's proposed scope of work, materials, and equipment to be used, proposed project duration, and all other related information or project details the Contractor wants to provide to the City to demonstrate his experience, qualifications, or proposed methodology in performing the project.
