Renovation of a municipal facility in Fernandina Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The project consists of repairs to the exterior stucco façade of the City of Fernandina Beach City Hall Building located at 204 Ash Street, Fernandina Beach, Florida. The existing exterior of the building has incurred significant weather-related deterioration and needs repair including stucco, sealant joints, soffit/fascia weathering, and paint. The intent isto restore the façade to prevent further water intrusion and damage and provide long-term protection to extend the life of the structure. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, to waive irregularities and technicalities, and to request resubmission or to re-advertise for the services. The City shall be the sole judge of the submittals. The City's decision shall be final. The Owner (City) has established a contract performance time of 20 calendar days from the date of commencement. A Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid price and shall be made payable to the CITY OF FERNANDINA BEACH as a guarantee that the Bidder will not withdraw its bid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after Bid closing time.
