The Portsmouth Public Schools is seeking a qualified contractor to enter into an annual contract to inspect and certify that school system bleachers meet the minimum industry safety standards. It is also desired that safety inspections and certifications will be performed on gym divider doors/curtains, basketball goals, wrestling mat holders, basketball goals, and indoor batting cages. The successful contractor shall also arrange for and oversee the necessary repairs to the school system's bleachers and similar sporting equipment, in accordance with the terms and conditions contained herein. It shall be the offeror's responsibility to advise the Portsmouth Public Schools Procurement Manager in writing if any language, requirement, specification, etc. or any combination thereof, inadvertently restricts or limits the requirements stated in the RFP to a single source. The Procurement Manager must receive such notification not later than seven (7) days prior to the date set for acceptance of proposals. Offerors must submit questions regarding the Request for Proposal in writing by email to the Issuing Office at purchasing@portsk12.com no later than June 5, 2023 Necessary replies will be issued to all Offerors of record as addenda that shall become part of the contract documents Period of Contract: The period of this contract shall be a three year term through June 30, 2026 with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year terms.
