All persons must either show proof of recently testing negative for Covid-19, or show your vaccination card, in order to work in the facility. Please call in advance if you plan to attend the pre-bid conference to (757) 217 -2612. All prospective vendors are required to visit and examine the job as a pre-condition to submitting a Bid. Contractors unable to attend the Pre-Bid Conference must contact either Erin Wishall or Deborah Hand to schedule an appointment with the Maintenance Department to view the job site. Due to the size of the building and time constraints, the subsequent site visit will be scheduled at a time convenient for the Jail. Attendance is limited to two (2) representatives from the company. Provide all labor, materials, supplies and supervision necessary to deliver, assemble and/or install the following pieces of equipment in the commercial kitchen at the Hampton Roads Regional Jail. Bidders offering equipment other than the equipment specified will be considered, however the Regional Jail will at its sole discretion, determine what an acceptable equal is. Bidders submitting equipment other than what is specified must indicate in writing the Make and Model of the equipment being offered in the "Exceptions" section of the bid and include complete specifications with the bid submission. Work will include removal and proper disposal of existing equipment. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
