The Work consists of three schedules: Schedule 1 (Base Bid) - Monroe Street (Third Street to Seventh Street): The Work consists of approximately 385 tons of asphalt overlay and inlay, 11,300 square feet of asphalt grind, approximately 125 square feet of pothole repair, shoulder rock, trench drain, manhole rim adjustment, surface preparation, leveling course application, sawcutting, compaction, erosion control, traffic control and other work as defined in the Bid Documents. Schedule 2 - Market Street (Third Street to Fifth Street): The Work consists of approximately 150 tons of asphalt inlay, 10,700 square feet of asphalt grind, approximately 320 square feet of pothole repair, shoulder rock, valve box adjustment, surface preparation, leveling course application, sawcutting, compaction, erosion control, traffic control and other work as defined in the Bid Documents. Schedule 3 - Market Street (Fifth Street to Seventh Street): The Work consists of approximately 130 tons of asphalt overlay, approximately 200 square feet of pothole repair, valve box adjustment, surface preparation, leveling course application, sawcutting, compaction, erosion control, traffic control and other work as defined in the Bid Documents. Schedule 3: Per the design documents for Market Street, between Fifth and Seventh Streets. 1.02 The Project, of which the Work under the Contract Documents is a part, is generally described as follows: 2023 Overlay Project. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to the Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by the Engineer or Owner as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than 10 days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. B. Addenda may also be issued to modify the Bidding Documents as deemed advisable by the Owner or Engineer.
