The Contract shall be awarded by the Governing Body of the Owner at the sole and complete discretion of such Governing Body. The City of Shawnee reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in bids. The Project provides for the removal and replacement of approximately 20 linear feet of 2.5' x 6.5' Concrete Culvert Structure 2x10X6 reinforced concrete box (RCB), Construction willalso include surface restoration including concrete sidewalk, Pavement repair, sod, and other items. Construction will occur in existing right-of-way, existing drainage or utility easements, and temporary construction easements obtained for this project. This project will only be available for download and bidding online and there will be no public opening of online bid documents. The email address registered with e-Builder must be a monitored email. In order to be considered a qualified bidder, the online bid must be completed and submitted, all addenda acknowledged, and acknowledgement uploaded to the site, and a copy of the bid bond uploaded to the site. No pre-bid meeting will be held for this project. All bidders shall verify that they have considered all issued addenda. Any addenda issued during the time of bidding shall be covered and included in the bid. There will be no clarifications or exceptions allowed on the Bid. Bids are for a total bid package, and total contract price. Each bid shall be made on a proposal form included with the bid documents. Bids shall be submitted online as indicated on the e-Builder website. An officer of the firm making such proposal shall properly execute all proposal forms. Bids received after the time and date above specified shall not be considered.
