Westlake Boulevard Flood Mitigation Project (CI 5590) Question Submission Deadline:July 29, 2024, 5:00pm The existing pavement adjacent to existing gutters, cross gutters or at the ends of overlays, at equipment crossings and at bridge approaches shall be cold planed as specified herein. Limits of cold milling will be determined by the Engineer prior to construction. The depths and dimensions of the cold planing and keycuts are designated on the Plans. Cold milling will be used for removal of existing pavement on those roadways designated for cold planing and replacement of the asphalt concrete and dig outs (R&R). Estimate Amount: 1,075,000 The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals as required by the plans (Drawing Number 23-16A, Sheets 1-13), Specifications, and Contract Documents. The general items of work include sediment basins, catch basin, reinforced concrete pipe, corrugated metal riser, retaining walls and concrete v-gutters. The successful bidder will be required to complete all work within 90 calendar days from the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. Discrepancies in, and/or omissions from the Plans, Specifications or other Contract Documents or questions as to their meaning shall be immediately brought to the attention of the City by submission of a written request to the City for an interpretation or correction.
