The southwest wingwall of the Spring Lake dam structure located approximately 1055-ft east of Mill Rd / STH 59 intersection needs repair. The south side of STH 59, between the gravel edge and Spring Lake will be disturbed as construction equipment accesses the wingwall and will be restored when the wingwall work is complete. It is anticipated that roadway asphalt will need replacement due to construction equipment and material storage. The roadway base is not anticipated to be disturbed. There is one tree that will be removed in this area, along with clearing & grubbing of shrubs and unmaintained lawn. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. 1702 Pankratz Street, Madison, WI 53704.
