Site work for a water / sewer project in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project involves the installation of new storm sewer systems in, along and adjacent to Quincy Drive and Emrose Drive in the Municipality of Penn Hills including, but not limited to, the installation of storm sewer inlet and tard drain structures; Smooth Lined Corrugated Plastic Piper - Water Tight (SLC PP WT) storm sewer; connection to existing structures and drains; site preparation; unclassified trench excavation ; erosion and sedimentation control measures; associated site and bituminous pavement restoration and overlay; traffic control; utility coordination, location, support, and notification; resident notifications; and all other incidental items, complete in place. Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of Municipality of Penn Hills, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania in an amount equal to ten (10) percent of the total amount of the Proposal. Bids shall be valid for sixty (60) days beyond the time of bid opening. The Municipality of Penn Hills, Pennsylvania reserves the right to waive any formalities or to reject any or all Proposals. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents.
