Renovation of a development in Riverwoods, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a development.
Prices shall be submitted for a recover application of the existing roof with a fully adhered 115FleeceBACK, white EPDM roofing membrane assembly. Before the installation of the new roofing membrane assembly, the roofing contractor shall first properly prepare the surface of the existing fully adhered EPDM roof system to comply with the membrane manufacturer’s requirements. Areas of noted wet insulation will need to be removed and replaced. None of the work other than HVAC, electrical, and plumbing shall be subcontracted. The base bid prices shall include a Manufacturer’s 15-Year NDL Warranty, all costs associated with permits and fees to complete the roofing project, removal of existing base flashings, installation of new pre-finished sheet metal details, new pre-finished metal counter flashings, new walk pad as indicated on roof plan, new wood nailers (as required) and all other related items. If any prospective Vendor is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the Bid Package, including specifications, such prospective Vendor shall submit to Owner an email directed to Owner's Purchasing Department, purchasingdept@lcfpd.org, for an interpretation thereof no later than 11:00 a.m. on December 13, 2023.
