Renovation of a municipal facility in Hackensack, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The work will include but is not limited to removing and replacing the main roof of the John Earl Building as well as the lower first floor roof and the roof of the elevator tower. Removing and replacing the main roof of the Firehouse as well as the roof of the firehouse stair tower. Removing and replacing the main roof of the Civic Center as well as the adjacent roof over the "breeze way" that spills onto the Civic Center Roof. Total roof replacement area is approx. 42,400 SF (all three roof areas combined). The Contractor is responsible for providing all labor, supervision, trade skills, materials, and equipment required for this Project as described in the Construction Documents. The Contract will allow 60 calendar days for completion of the work from the Notice to Proceed. In submitting this request, you will be registered for this Bid, only Registered Bidders will be allowed to submit a Bid. Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained electronically between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm daily except Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays beginning on Wednesday, June 07, 2023 upon written equest to the contacts listed above. Contract Documents are only available in digital format via email. There is no cost to obtain the Contract Documents. Bids shall be made on the forms provided and made part of the Contract Documents, which SHALL be submitted in triplicate, One Stamped Original, and Two Stamped Copies. A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the order of the City of Hackensack, or a duly executed Bid Bond, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of each Bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 must be deposited by the Bidder together with a Surety Consent evidencing that They can obtain the required Performance Bond. The Successful Bidder will be required to deliver to the Owner an executed Performance Bond of a responsible indemnity company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey.
