Renovation of a military facility in Centennial, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs is requesting bids to upgrade the Site Security Lighting at two locations: Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ), Centennial CO and Combined Support Maintenance Shop 7(CSMS), Longmont CO. Both sites JFHQ and CSMS are currently operational, and the contactor should make every effort reduce impact to the users. The project consists of adding new bases, poles, pole mounted lights, wall packs, photocells, and light controls. Scope of work is represented in the provided drawings and specifications. The security lighting at JFHQ is outdated and no longer complies with current Anti-terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) requirements. Light pole spacing, base height, fixture type, and exterior building wall fixtures are all out of compliance. The unacceptable lighting levels is creating a security and safety concern for employees and visitors. Both projects include electrical, civil, and structural, work. Other parts of the project include utility location, saw cutting, trenching, excavating, and concrete replacement.
