**As of January 31, 2025 the project has not been awarded yet. The timeline for award has not yet been established.** Phase II of the generator project will include the evaluation of the existing emergency power generation equipment and pumping capacity within each pressure zone to meet indoor demands and to equip additional critical pumping facilities with stand-by electric generation equipment to enable delivery of essential indoor water needs following an emergency event which disrupts the electrical power grid. The work comprises the installation of standby power generation improvements at five sites located within Salt Lake County, Utah to enable the use of electrical generation equipment in the event of a power outage. Improvements include the installation of diesel-powered electrical generators, automatic-transfer switches, sound walls, modifications to existing electrical systems, restoration of the sites and facilities to its preconstruction condition, and performing all Work, or other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the Contract Documents. All work shall be substantially completed by December 01, 2027. Estimated Construction Cost $4 million Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, money order or bid bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid price payable to the Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the contract, provide evidence of worker's compensation insurance, and furnish a satisfactory faithful performance bond in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid price and a payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid price. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the Owner.
