This letter serves as notice of the County’s intent to award a Contract to Ciena. **As of July 07, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.**  Lane County is seeking quotes from qualified vendors to provide MPLS network equipment to support the LCSO Communications sites network Lane County is an urban/rural county of 4,610 square miles, roughly the size of the state of Connecticut, with a population of 382,971. The county stretches from the Cascade Mountains to the Pacific Ocean. Approximately 61% of the county's residents live in Eugene/ Springfield, the second largest urban area in Oregon. Please email all questions NO LATER than June 12, 2023, to Debby Haller. County will post an addendum on Lane County Bid Site with answers to questions no later than June 14, 2023.
