The timeframe for an award that has been given is September/October of this year The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work as shown on the drawings and described in the specifications. Major items of construction consist of approximately clearing site bridge (Stowaway), one (1) Prefabricated Bridge, 16 cubic yards of excavation unclassified, 94 square yards of dense-graded aggregate base course 6" thick, 11 tons of hot mix asphalt 12.5M64 surface course 2" thick, 16 tons of hot mix asphalt 19M64 base course 3" thick, 50 linear feet of beam guide rail, 4 beam guide rail anchorages, and other incidental work. Each bid must be made on the prescribed forms furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications, including Non-collusion Affidavit, and must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety and a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond of not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount bid, and not to exceed $20,000.00.
