Accompany Bids with acceptable Cashier s or Certified Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount bid, payable without recourse to the District, or a Bid Bond of like amount from an approved surety company, as a guarantee that bidder will enter into a contract Scope of Work: Generally providing the necessary materials, equipment, supervision, labor, and appurtenances to construct approximately 8,500 LF of 8-inch, 8,500 LF of 6-inch, and 6,200 LF of 4-inch waterlines, including fire hydrants, valves, service connections, and all appurtenances necessary for a complete waterline installation. Also included is an Alternate for an encased crossing of the Union Pacific Railroad, an Alternate for an internally applied epoxy lining system for the existing waterline crossing of the Union Pacific Railroad, and an Alternate for identifying and recording the material type of the private side service lines
