Eagle Mountain City is seeking qualified consultation for upgrading the pumping capacity of an existing city well. The scope of the project will include the following: 1. TASK 1- Confirm the existing electrical capacity at the well site. Determine if the existing generator will be sufficient for an upgraded pump and motor and recommend upgrading if not. 2. TASK 2- Design upgrades to pump and motor system including MCC and electric system. Identify long lead time items and assist the city in pre-procurement if needed. 3. TASK 5- Assist the City in procuring construction bids 4. TASK 6- Provide Construction Management services during the construction of the project. The city meets the culinary needs of our residents from a series of wells within the city in addition to receiving an allotment from Central Utah Water Conservancy District. In an effort to increase the Cit's ability to provide water to our community, the city desires to upgrade an existing well. When this well was originally constructed, Rocky Mountain Power did not have sufficient capacity in this area to provide for optimum well performance. At the time of the original construction of well 5, only 480V 3 phase was available so the well was designed to with a lower horsepower motor. Since that time, however, upgrades have been made to their system to provide 12,470 in that area, which would accommodate 4160 at the well site with a transformer.
