Bidders must be on time to the mandatory pre-bid conference. Bidders will not be allowed to sign in to the meeting once we start discussing the scope of work. Work for this contract shall consist mobilization; clearing and grubbing; minor channel grading; excavation; placement of fill; on-site material stock piling; off-site haul of excavated excess material; water channel control; erosion control; landscaping; fencing and railings; re-vegetation; irrigation system; large block retaining walls; deep pier foundation drilling and installation, concrete box culverts; concrete headwalls; water line construction; removal and rebuild of railroad track facilities; storm water piping, inlets, manholes; minor removal of pavement, removal of concrete, asphalt paving, concrete trails, striping, and signage. The Contractor will supply all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work in accordance with these specifications. The total quantities and type of work estimated in the Bid Schedule is representative of the estimated quantities; however, these quantities may be revised by the City to represent actual field conditions at the time of construction.
