Renovation of a water / sewer project in Warsaw, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
To remove 75 existing water meters in the (T) Warsaw Water District, (T) Warsaw, and replace them with new Neptune T-10 Integrated E_CODER R900i meters. The meters will be supplied by the Wyoming County Water Resource Agency. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% The removal of 75 existing water meters, the installation of new integrated water meters and gaskets that will be supplied by the Wyoming County Water Resource Agency as listed below. Contractor will schedule said installations in advance, and work with, the Chief Water Operator for the respective water systems during the project to ensure proper installation. As part of this process the contractor will: 1. Locate and identify water meter to be removed; 2. Determined the current type, size and condition of water line pre and post meter documenting information on a form provide; 3. Turn supply water pre and post meter off to prevent any water drainage during meter replacement; 4. Replacement meter, documenting the final meter read prior to removal, with new water meter and gaskets provided and documenting the new water meter number with corresponding address. Old meters will remain the property of the municipality; 5. Turn water supply back on and ensure there are no water leaks on the system; 6. All information noted above will be recorded on a form supplied by the Wyoming County Water Resource Agency.
