Electrical The City of Crystal Lake is requesting proposals from qualified licensed electrical contracting companies to provide on-call electrical services for the Public Works Departments buildings and facilities. The Contractor will provide scheduled and emergency electrical repairs, upgrades, installations and replacements for components and infrastructure on an as-needed basis during the term of the contract period. Per mutual accord, the Contractor will provide scheduled and emergency electrical services at other sites for the City at the request of the Director of Public Works or his designee. These occurrences will be at a minimum, however. The City will assign tasks on a work order basis. Proposals shall include all labor, tools, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to accomplish all electrical work. The contract term shall be one year, with an optional second and third year. The qualified contractor must demonstrate experience and expertise of company and individuals with water and wastewater controls and electrical systems as identified in the scope of services. Estimated hours annually: - Wastewater Treatment Plants and Sanitary Lift Stations: 300-500 hours - Potable Water Treatment Facilities: 20-50 hours - City Hall Municipal Complex and Public Works Garage: 20-50 hours - Miscellaneous electrical work: 20-50 hours
