A. The Work is located on the site of the Franklin County Sanitary Landfill at 3851 London-Groveport Road, Grove City, Ohio 43123. B. The Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the construction of the Work as described below and all other appurtenances and related Work required. The Work shall be as follows: 1. Construction of 2023 Landfill Gas (LFG) System at an existing, operating, landfill, consisting of the following: a. Supply and Installation of LFG extraction wells. b. Supply and Installation of LFG horizontal collectors, header, air and forcemain piping. c. Abandonment of existing LFG extraction wells. 2. Miscellaneous Work a. Seeding and mulching of disturbed areas and stockpiles. b. Appurtenant work as required. C. Contracting Method: The Work will be constructed under one prime contract. i. The Construction of the 2023 Gas Collection and Control System at the Franklin County Sanitary Landfill, as described in the RFB, is for the duration of six (6) weeks for the base bid and two (2) weeks for the optional work. ii. The Project scope includes, but is not limited to, installation of new lateral lines, new vertical gas collection wells, new horizontal collectors, new de-watering sumps, abandonment of wells, other miscellaneous improvements, and site restoration. iii. The project includes base and optional work. SWACO will award all, some, or none of the optional work with the Notice to Proceed. iv. The Bidder is to include proposed construction start and completion dates as part of the bid package. These dates will become part of the contract. The duration of the base bed work cannot exceed six (6) weeks and the duration of the optional work cannot exceed two (2) weeks.
