Site work for a civil project in Merritt, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and bridge / tunnel.
The general nature of the Work to be carried out under the Contract consists of the following: Construction of a temporary Detour, complete with all appropriate signs, barricades and barriers; Remove a Section of the EB and WB Lanes on Highway 5A and replace with a reinforced concrete slab and provide a barrier and barrier flare; adjacent to the WB Shoulder. Installation of Virtual Weigh-in-Motion system and electrical infrastructure and Culvert Upgrade works. Project Location: Highway 5A within the Thompson Nicola Regional District (TNRD), approximately 3 kilometres north of Merritt, BC Landmark Kilometre Inventory Segment 1721, kilometre 4.20 to kilometer 4.37 Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca. Construction documents for this project are copyright of the Province of British Columbia.
