Danville Utilities (DU) is requesting unit pricing for the scope of work described below. This is a change in strategy from how we conduct business today and will be the foundation for how Danville Utilities conducts business going forward, for all standard line clearing Distribution, Transmission, and other larger scale projects. The focus of this RFP is to establish this model as a partnership with a qualified vendor(s). Our vendor partner(s) will contribute to the successful launch and continual improvement of utility vegetation management program best practices, such as pre-planned, digitized vegetation management work details, completion tracking, and invoicing. Making the transition to unit-based work plans and pricing. DU will partner with other stakeholders to transition Rights-of-Way (ROW) vegetation to compatible species over time.
