Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Rochester, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
As of 7/24/2023 this project has been suspended until early 2024. The White River Partnership (WRP) has grant funds to construct a new town highway culvert to replace existing culvert on River Brook Drive in Rochester, VT. Work includes replacement of existing pipe arch with 17-0 x 10-10 x 58-6 long aluminum structural plate pipe arch embedded to incorporate a natural stream bottom. Reconstruction of stream channel, stream banks, and roadway approaches; installation of one-way temporary bypass road including temporary stream crossing structure; all associated erosion prevention and sediment control work and associated roadway reconstruction.
