WORK consists of clearing and grubbing of approximately 3,000 feet of right of way, removal, and disposal of unsuitable soils and rock embankment. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality in a Bid, or to make award as it best serves the interests of the OWNER. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. SITE OF WORK. The WORK is located at the former Wrangell Institute Site in Wrangell, Alaska. All communications relative to this WORK, prior to opening Bids, shall be directed to the following: Amber Al-Haddad Capital Facilities Director Telephone: (907) 874-3902 Email: aal-haddad@wrangell.com All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to the ENGINEER. WORK consists of various quantities of mobilization, construction surveying, clearing and grubbing of the proposed right-of-way for the Alder Top Village subdivision working in conjunction with the City's Archologist for Cultural monitoring, removal of unsuitable soils to a firm foundation, placement of shot rock road subbase to a minimum depth of 4' or to the grade shown on the project drawings. B. Additive alternative bid items include clearing and grubbing the alders from the former institute property as well as removing and disposing of the perimeter chain link fencing.
