Replace 15,160 LF of water line in the City of Whitesburg distribution system Questions regarding this project must be received by Nesbitt Engineering, Inc. (859-685-4547 bgreenwell@nei-ky.com) in writing no later than 5:00 PM on 07/11/2023 The owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Procurement will be subject to DOW Procurement Guidance including the Davis-Bacon Act. This contract is being funded in full with an SRF loan. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Bid award will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. All bidders shall submit with their bid an acceptable bid bond or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the Owner. The Bidder awarded the contract shall complete this project within 180 calendar days of the construction start date. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $750 per calendar day. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
