The City & Borough of Wrangell (CBW) Public Works Department is seeking quotes from local material suppliers for aggregate base for road construction specified as follows: D-1 ( 3/4 " minus- 1" minus) Aggregate Base. Material must be clean. Contaminated or recycled (previously used) material will be rejected. Quantity: 700 Cubic Yards. The quote should include the cost per cubic yard of the material delivered to the CBW Rock Quarry on Zimovia Highway. Delivery of material must be complete no later than July 28th, 2023. The successful supplier shall coordinate delivery of the material with the CBW PublicWorks Department. A representative from Public Works is required to be on site to receive the material. Quotes will be reviewed on July 13th, 2023 with the notification of award by the close of that business day.
