Saving Project...

Site work for a mixed-use development in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Replace an existing 150mm (6") galvanized steel water main supplied from Lodge Avenue from the main water service entrance through the tunnel to the meter location in the basement of the powerhouse. Every bid shall be accompanied with security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the total Base Bid Price. The successful Bidder shall promptly provide a Labour and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 50% of the Contract Price. Labour and Material Payment Bond shall be in the same form as the latest edition of the Canadian Construction Document Committee CCDC 222. If the Contractor fails to complete the Work within the time required by the Contract Documents, the Owner, in addition to any other rights and remedies he may have, shall entitled to deduct from any payments due to the Contractor the additional costs to the Owner of the Consultant services incurred as a result of the Contractor's failure to complete on time.
