The Project includes the following Work: New building, gravity biological contactors, gravity polishing filters, chemical feed, electrical and controls, HVAC, demolition of existing gravity filter and components, and renovation of existing building for re-use, stational generator. Construct new water treatment plant building attached to the north side of the existing water treatment plant building. 2. In new water treatment building connect new biological contactors and gravity polishing filters to existing distribution system. 3. Construct new ammonia storage room in existing water treatment plant and replace existing chemical feed equipment as indicated in the plans and specifications. 4. Replace existing water treatment plant power supply equipment, water treatment plant and well controls, adding new filter and contactor controls, addition of a stand-by stationary generator. 5. Provide new HVAC equipment for new water treatment building and replace existing HVAC equipment in existing water treatment plant building. 6. Removal of existing gravity filter, high service pumps and other equipment indicated in the removal sections of the plans. 7. Patch roof of existing water treatment plant where existing water filter and aerator are located and being removed. 8. Renovation of existing water treatment plant for re-use, including a new office room and bathroom. 9. Moving existing utilities on the water treatment site, including hydrants, sewer services, sewer main, WTP backwash drainage lines (pressure and gravity), and backwash airbreak manhole 10. New SCADA system for the water treatment plant and connecting existing lift statin to new SCADA system.
