Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Grimes, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility; water / sewer project; and for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility.
Site Directions: The new ground storage reservoir will be located on the north side of the existing water treatment plant. The Ground Storage Reservoir project includes the construction of one 2,000,000-gallon Wire-Wound, Prestressed Concrete Drinking Water Tank with electrical control and related site work. Installation of approximately 300 linear feet of 16-inch diameter and 520 linear feet of 24 inch diameter ductile iron pipe. 9,600 cubic yards of Excavation and 1,500 cubic yards of engineered fill. The new ground storage reservoir will be located on the north side of the existing water treatment plant. The project specifically consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for the above referenced project, consisting of: 1. Construction of one 2,000,000-gallon Wire-Wound, Prestressed Concrete Drinking Water Tank 2. Installation of approximately 300 linear feet of 16-inch diameter and 520 linear feet of 24-inch diameter ductile iron pipe. 3. 9,600 cubic yards of Excavation and 1,500 cubic yards of engineered fill. 4. Site work, site restoration, concrete paving, miscellaneous piping, and other miscellaneous work. 5. Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls. 6. All other work required by the Contract Documents.
