Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wernersville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Borough of Wernersville Borough Council will accept sealed Proposals, in triplicate, for the Playground and Garage Paving Project. The project includes bituminous overlay and partial reconstruction of pedestrian walkways at Borough playground, bituminous overlay and profile of basketball court, bituminous overlay of existing tennis court, select base repair and overlay of Borough Garage Parking Lot,3 ADA curb ramp installations and other related work. The anticipated Notice to Proceed date is August 14, 2023. A ten percent (10%) bid security must accompany each sealed proposal. The successful bidder will be required to place a 100% performance bond, 100% payment bond and a 100% maintenance bond with the Borough within ten (10) days of Notice of Intent to Award. Price adjustment of bituminous materials shall be per Publication 408, Section 110.04 except as specified in the Borough resolution for price adjustment of bituminous material for small quantities. Proposed Bidders shall be PennDOT Prequalified per Publication 408, Section 102.01. The Borough of Wernersville reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any and all Bids, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the BOROUGH, at the time and under the circumstances stipulated. The Borough also reserves its right,at its sole discretion, to waive any informality in the Bid, and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any Bid. All work contained within the contract shall be completed in full within seventy-five (75)calendar days of Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages shall apply to the contract for work not completed in full within the specified time period.
