As of July 30,2024 The Project was awarded to Construction Masters Services for $97,182.50 The Borough of Wernersville Borough Council will accept sealed Proposals, in triplicate, for the 2024 Streets Project. The project includes 350 tons of wearing course, 8 ADA curb ramp installations and other related work. The anticipated Notice of Award date is July 10, 2024. A ten percent (10%) bid security must accompany each sealed proposal. The successful bidder will be required to place a 100% performance bond, 100% payment bond and a 100% maintenance bond with the Borough within ten (10) days of Notice of Intent to Award. Price adjustment of bituminous materials shall be per Publication 408, Section 110.04 except as specified in the Borough resolution for price adjustment of bituminous material for small quantities. Proposed Bidders shall be PennDOT Prequalified per Publication 408, Section 102.01. The Borough of Wernersville reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any and all Bids, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the BOROUGH, at the time and under the circumstances stipulated. The Borough also reserves its right, at its sole discretion, to waive any informality in the Bid, and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any Bid. Borough reserves the right to delete portions of the project due to budget constraints. All work contained within the contract shall be completed by October 31, 2024. Liquidated damages shall apply to the contract for work not completed in full within the specified time period
