The work on this project includes but is not limited to removal and replacement of RBC shafts, bearings, bearing mounts, motors, miscellaneous electrical, media, aeration diffusers, and modification of related electric and electronic components of two RBC trains. Work also consists of concrete repairs to the two RBC Tanks as needed and coating of Tanks. The work also consists of the replacement of three Raw Sewage Influent Pumps, replacement of three influent check valves, replacement of the grit fine screen, and replacement of six Philadelphia Mixers at the plant. The scope of the work also includes replacing the weir trough and scum baffle in Digesters No. 1 and No. 2 and replacing the Center Manifold and Suction & Plow Arm in Digester No.1. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of the Robesonia-Wernersville Municipal Authority, or a Bid Bond in favor of the Robesonia-Wernersville Municipal Authority in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. All iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in this project must be produced in the United States. Contractors must demonstrate compliance with federal Executive Orders and EPA Regulations through detailed documentation of solicitation of Disadvantage Business Enterprises (DBEs) and demonstrate the Six Good Faith Efforts to identify and solicit DBE firms.
