Bid Intent Deadline 04/29/2024 05:00 PM EDT General Requirements - Insurance Required Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is five percent (5%) of the bid amount made payable to the City of New Bedford, Massachusetts. The Awarded Bidder must furnish a 100 percent (100%) Performance Bond and a 100 percent (100%) Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the City. The City is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages MBE/WBE/DBE participation in response to the IFB process. *The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive any informality, reject any or all bids, or accept other than the lowest priced bid if the City determines that it is in the best interests of the City.
