The project includes but is not limited to grinding three (3) inches of existing pavement and placement of three (3) inches of new pavement and/or two (2) inches of asphalt overlay and driveway conforms. Other work includes replacement and/or repair of curb and gutters, replacement of existing signs, and protecting existing utility monuments and covers. Engineer's Estimate: $3,500,000 All questions must be received by 12:00 P.M. on July 20, 2023 by either email: Liang.Su@Countyofnapa.org, or mail: Liang Su, Napa County Public Works, 1195 Third St. Room 101, Napa, CA 94559. There will be no County-led pre-bid site visit. However, contractorsshall view site conditions on their own prior to submitting a bid. Contractor shall submit a site visit affidavit verifying that they reviewed site conditions as part of their bid proposals. See Proposal pages P-9 and P-10. A mandatory bidder's list will be required to participate in bidding for this project. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price and a Labor and Material Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price with good and sufficient surety. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
