Those materials will be segregated and placed in appropriate containers for disposal/recycling. Materials located on the exterior of the structure (rooftop HVAC chlorofluorocarbons are not part of the scope of work). Existing containers of waste or unknown materials shall be removed from buildings and staged in a central location for repackaging and disposal by the Contractor. The Contractor shall provide consolidation, all packaging, transportation and disposal of these wastes. The Contractor is to provide controls and measures for the prevention of water and air pollution and the protection of natural resources during the execution of work included in this Contract. Environmental protection shall include but not be limited to measures for spill control and contingency. The Contractor is responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for performing the specified work in accordance with these specifications, all applicable laws and regulations.
